Chandler Levack’s delightful comedy I LIKE MOVIES had premiered in Toronto and will be closing this year’s Seattle International Film Festival. Isaiah Lehtinen’s highly insufferable, PTA-loving teenage movie snob is a fantastic breakout performance. Romina D’Ugo is also exceptional as the video store manager with broken dreams. It strikes the right balance of serious and funny. Likely to be among this year’s favorite comedies for cinephiles.
