HEIGHTENED SCRUTINY, Sam Feder’s follow-up to their 2020 Sundance doc Disclosure, will screen in person and stream via Seattle International Film Festival and NewFest Pride.
It follows trans rights activist and lawyer Chase Strangio as he prepares to go before SCOTUS. The film cannot be timelier and includes the voices of many whose lives are being impacted by the laws. Rather than only listening to self-serving politicians, I wish people would also hear them out before making up their minds on the issues. We can use many more films like this one for the foreseeable future.
