It is not surprising Seattle International Film Festival Closing Night selection DIDI had won the Audience Award at Sundance. Sean Wang’s feature debut is a raw, bold, and often hilarious depiction of growing up as an insufferable teenager in the heyday of MySpace. Izaac Wang and Joan Chen are both wonderful. It will make you want to call your mom.
