John Slattery’s MAGGIE MOORE(S) starring Jon Hamm and Tine Fey is stuck somewhere between a Coen Brothers crime film and an episode of Monk. It struggles to get the balance right between the violent and the lighthearted. If you can overlook that unevenness and its overall lack of suspense, it might be worth seeing for the leads. It just had its World Premiere at Tribeca Festival and will be in theaters and on VOD on June 16th.
