Addison Heimann’s campy sci-fi horror comedy TOUCH ME is unlike anything I have seen, which is always a plus. Despite some of its shortcomings, the fact that it is never boring also works to its advantage.
Joey and Craig cannot stop having sex with Brian, an alien with tentacles in human form, even after they realize the dangers he poses, because the experience is so euphoric. Olivia Taylor Dudley, Lou Taylor Pucci, and Jordan Gavaris are all well-cast and amusing in their roles.
There are some gory, eye-popping B-movie practical effects. The script is messy at times, and some seemingly important, barely mentioned details are left unexplored. The constant aspect ratio changes also did not seem to serve any purpose.
Touch Me will likely be too strange and possibly offensive for general audiences, but adventurous viewers should seek it out.
